Thanksgiving Lunch

Thanksgiving Lunch: Our class is scheduled to line-up for Thanksgiving lunch at 11:24. Parents should meet us out on the playground at 11:15. We will line-up all together and eat in the classroom. After lunch, Sam's mom is doing a special art activity with the class!

Guest author Jacqueline Woodson

Today we had a surprise guest author Jacquelin Woodson! She read us "Pecan Pie Baby" a realistic fiction picture book about a little girl whose mother is having a baby. It was like having a super hero in the classroom!

We had our first four winds science lesson...insects! The children watched a puppet show about insects and bugs, identified several different types of insects, sang about the parts of an insect and made edible insects!

Kim teaches us how to pick the apples and the wagon ride!
