Kindergarten News #3 September 19th

 Kinder News,


Self-Portraits/What makes us special:


Hello and happy Monday!  We had a very busy two weeks of school.  They filled our gem jar again by following the school rules ( We are kind. We are safe. We are responsible.)  We had an extra choice time on Friday morning!  I have several important dates coming up. 


Important Dates:

Tuesday, September 20 Our First ECO at Harrison Field 8:45-10:45 (Rainy/54)

Friday, September 30th Early Release Day (1:00 dismissal)

Friday, October 7th School Closed (In-service Day)

Monday, October 10th School Closed (Indigenous Peoples’ Day)


ECO:

We have our very first ECO on Tuesday, September 20th.  We will walk over to Harrison at 8:30-10:30.  Please make sure you help your child dress for the weather (rainy low of 54).  We usually go rain or shine!


RECESS:

I bring the children out for recess twice a day rain or shine.  It is very helpful that the children are properly dressed for the weather.  Thank you for your help!


Class Telephone Book:

I will send the books home on Monday, September 19th.  I am only sending pages for those who sent a page back.

Discussed the teen numbers 11-16 (10+4)

Kindergarten News # 2 September

 Kinder News,



Hello and happy Monday!  We had a very busy first two weeks of school.  The kids are still working hard to learn about our classroom and navigating a very busy day in kindergarten.  They are doing an amazing job!  They filled our gem jar by following the school rules ( We are kind. We are safe. We are responsible.)  We will have an extra choice time in the morning on Tuesday!!!!I have several important dates coming up.

Friday, September 30th Early Release Day (1:00 dismissal)

Class Telephone Book:

I am making a class phone/email book (birthday parties and playdates).  If you would like your information shared with the kids in the class please send back your page(check in red/blue folders on Tuesday) by Friday, September 9th.  I will send the books home on Monday, September 12th.  I will use the page you make so participation is OPTIONAL,
